Fields of activities

EAS facilitates a lively and active network by

supporting and stimulating the exchange, collation and dissemination of information about developments in music education through the activities of the board, the national coordinators and the members of EAS;
enabling people concerned with music education to meet, exchange ideas and find new resources at regular conferences, organised in partnership with institutions, associations and EAS members;
providing the EAS website as a forum for information and exchange;
enabling students of music education from different countries to meet and exchange ideas and experiences;
taking initiatives to create and undertake cooperative projects involving research and professional development activities;
supporting EAS members and affiliated national and international associations in advocacy for music education;
establishing and maintaining partnerships with other associations such as ISME and EMC.
