Fields of activities
EAS facilitates a lively and active network by
- supporting and stimulating the exchange, collation and dissemination of information about developments in music education through the activities of the board, the national coordinators and the members of EAS;
- enabling people concerned with music education to meet, exchange ideas and find new resources at regular conferences, organised in partnership with institutions, associations and EAS members;
- providing the EAS website as a forum for information and exchange;
- enabling students of music education from different countries to meet and exchange ideas and experiences;
- taking initiatives to create and undertake cooperative projects involving research and professional development activities;
- supporting EAS members and affiliated national and international associations in advocacy for music education;
- establishing and maintaining partnerships with other associations such as ISME and EMC.
