2011/05: 1st Doctoral Student Forum for Music Education, Gdansk (Poland)

The EAS is delighted to announce a new initiative for doctoral students in the field of music education. For several years now we have organised a very successful annual Student Forum for students training to be music teachers. This is always held in conjunction with the annual EAS Conference. We now plan to extend the involvement of students to include those engaged in doctoral study. The first Doctoral Student Forum will take place as part of the programme for the 2011 EAS Conference / ISME European Regional Conference in Gdansk, Poland. The Forum session will be planned to include peer led discussion and workshops given by Dr. Mary Stakelum, Sarah Hennessy and Thade Buchborn.
