THE THIRD INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM OF MUSIC PEDAGOGUES
INVITATION
Dear colleagues,
The Department of Music, University of Pula invites you to the Third International Symposium of Music Pedagogues that will be held from 19th-20th April 2013 in Pula (Croatia).
The intention of the symposium is to bring together music educators, researchers and practitioners in order to promote music-educational theory and practice throughout their researches, innovations and concrete proposals. We invite you to present your work and therefore actively participate in the symposium.
The topic of the symposium is:
Interdisciplinary approach to music:
Research, Practice and Education
Areas:
- Interdisciplinary Projects in Education
- Music in the Context of Music Production and Reproduction (Musical Creativity and Performance) in School
- Music from the Position of Psychology, Philosophy, Sociology and other Arts (Painting, Literature, Architecture, Dance, Arts)
- Music Therapy
- Impact of Music Publishing on Musical Culture
- Music, Media and Technology
- Music and Tourism
Participants can present the subject by lectures, workshops and posters.
The registration fee is 500,00 kn (cca 70 euro) (attendance of all lectures and workshops, concerts, Proceedings, gala dinner). Bank costs are not included. Travel and accommodation costs are not included.
Important dates:
- Registration with the delivery of the abstract and keywords: up to 30. October 2012. (send to: simpozij.glazba@unipu.hr)
- Abstract of no more than 300 words should be submitted with an indication of the mode of presentation i.e paper presentation, poster, workshop; A few keywords should be mentioned which summarize the main content; Criteria for acceptance: clarity, well structured, relevant to an international audience in the field of music education; A short curriculum vitae (resumé) must be attached. Abstracts should be sent electronically (Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF formats), by completing the attached application form.
